Tuesday is our most popular run night, so it's a
great night to come out for your first run with the
group if you're not used to running for an hour. Our
weeknight runs are about 45 to 60 minutes and are
typically 7 to 10km or longer for the faster runners
in the group.
Sunday runs are generally somewhat
longer than weeknight runs, however, there is a wide
variety of definitions on how much longer, and the
pace is generally slower. A typical Sunday run is
about 90 minutes, although there is usually some
negotiation between people looking for someone to run
shorter or longer. Some may be following a marathon
training schedule and will run longer.
Walkers:
Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday walks
are each approximately one hour. If there is a race
or other walking event coming up, the Sunday walks
will be extended to train for the upcoming distance.
